Business Reporting Ireland Ltd. is a company formed to promote the development and adoption of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) in Ireland. The members of XBRL Ireland are Central Statistics Office, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Companies Registration Office, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Irish Tax Institute, KPMG, PwC and Revenue.

Purpose of Roadshow

The purpose is to advise tax filers, be they practitioners or corporates, of what is involved in filing in XBRL with Revenue, where optional go-live date for all CT filers is 23rd November 2012 and for sole traders is January 2013, with mandation for Corporation Tax beginning late 2013.

The events are relevant to all tax filers, tax advisors, accountants and company secretaries. Attendance is free of charge but must be pre-booked. These 2.5 hour events may qualify for CPD if they are relevant to your role.

Software vendors will be invited to participate in this roadshow to demonstrate their XBRL tools.
